Warriors of Light: Choosing Light, Strength, and Joy

by | Aug 18, 2025

This year’s Warriors of Light training was a powerful reminder of how far I’ve come — not just in my physical strength, but in my heart, my mind, and my spirit.

At its core, this training is about facing the “dark side” within. Those hidden habits, fears, and patterns that hold us back from being who we truly are. When you’re under pressure — physically, mentally, and emotionally — those shadows rise to the surface. And in those moments, the question becomes: will you choose the Light anyway?

That’s what it means to be a warrior. To build the discipline and consistency to choose Light even when it’s not easy. To grow stronger in body, clearer in mind, and purer in spirit. And to remember that a true warrior fights for something, not just against something — for joy, unity, compassion, and the light of the world.

This year I also previewed the Warrior Clan Path — a specialty track for those who voluntarily take on additional training. It’s physically difficult and requires many extra hours to accomplish, but something about it lit a spark in me. The idea of belonging to a tribe of warriors, each of us honing our capabilities together, filled me with excitement and purpose. I’m still reflecting on exactly why it struck me so deeply, but I know I’m going to continue on this path.

Looking back, I can hardly believe how different I am now compared to my first Warriors of Light experience in 2021. Back then, I struggled with stamina, strength, and constant mental chatter — doubting myself, worrying what others thought of me. This time, I felt the joy of being fully present, of sharing every moment with friends, of embracing both the challenges and the triumphs with love in my heart.

I left this year’s training with overflowing gratitude and joy, ready for the next year to bring even more Light into the darkness of the world.

Because the warrior’s path is not just about strength. It’s about love. And it’s about choosing Light — again and again.
