The day my colleague’s world turned upside down is one she will never forget. On February 17th, she was aboard Delta flight 4819 when it crash-landed. It was a moment of pure terror—a situation where survival was uncertain. And yet, she walked away from that plane, unharmed, filled with gratitude, and with an unshakable knowing that divine forces had intervened.
We were in class when I received a group text that read, “My airplane just crashed, but I’m okay.” Imagine receiving that message and not knowing what had happened. The room fell silent as I processed those words. The uncertainty, the fear, and the immediate wave of concern were overwhelming. It was only later that we would come to understand the full gravity of what had occurred—and the miracles that had unfolded.
As she has spent the past week processing what happened, one thing stands out with absolute clarity: she was not alone. As the plane was crashing, she called upon Archangel Michael, and in an instant, he responded with the full power of his office of angels. Like a bolt of lightning, his presence was undeniable. In the footage of the landing, she can pinpoint the exact moment when he arrived. The pundits have said that typically a crash like this will explode and nobody survives.
This was not coincidence. This was divine intervention.
The Power of Initiation and Standing in Your Power
One of the greatest gifts I have received through my journey in the Modern Mystery School is the ability to truly stand in my power—to recognize myself as a divine being with the ability to call in the forces of Light when needed. This is not about blind faith; this is about KNOWING. When you have been initiated into this sacred lineage, when you have stepped into your divine power and walked the path of empowerment, you understand how to wield the authority you have been given. You understand that you are not separate from God—you are a co-creator, an active participant in shaping your reality.
My colleague firmly believes that her training, initiations, and commitment to this path played a critical role in what happened on that flight. Because of her initiations, she knew exactly what to do in that moment. She knew to call upon the archangels with full authority. She knew that she was not a victim, but a sovereign being who could invoke divine assistance.
And the angels responded.
