What is Innerpowerment?

by | Feb 12, 2023

When naming my business, I wanted to use a name that would tell people what I do. To help you understand what that is, we first need to ask what is Innerpowerment?  Innerpowerment is not just one word, but three words combined to make a new word – Inner, Power, and -Ment.  As I was developing what I wanted my business to look like, I needed to put a name to it, not necessarily the name of the business because I am the business, but a name that would encompass what I am helping people to do.  To create my future, I first had to look at my past. This took me on a journey looking back into my life and how I got to this point, why I am doing what I do, and how I want to serve others.

How did I get here?

Looking back on how I arrived at the point of starting a healing business is complicated, yet there are some events that have happened in my life that have led me to this point that are very simple.  In my 30’s my mother died of cancer, my father died of dementia and my husband died suddenly (when my son was 1 year old).  Tragedies like these can suck you out of any normalcy in your life, landing you in this space where you’re asking, “What is life all about?”  You contemplate life and death and wonder about it all because it has shown up irrevocably in your face, and you have no choice but to move forward from that point in timeTo help me make sense of my grieving journey and the loss of my husband, I wrote a book called Finding Joy After Loss – My Journey Through Grief (available on Amazon if you are interested in reading more). It was a powerful way to help me heal and hopefully start helping in the healing process of others.

Even through my grief, however, I still had questions. After my husband passed away and as my son started growing up, occasionally, he would mention seeing his dad.  Sometimes, when I would ask how his day was, he would say “It was good. I saw my dad standing next to Grandpa”.  When I would ask any more questions about it, he would be evasive or not answer at all.  This ended when he was about 4 years old and after that he thought I was crazy when I mentioned it, which made it all more mysterious to me.  He didn’t have the capacity at the age of 2 and 3 to make something like this up, so I started to get curious about what is going on beyond this time and place on earth, and how someone can be seen after they have passed on from their physical existence.

Why I am doing what I do

The journey of finding out the mysteries of life has let me to mediums and psychics, angel communicators and high priestesses.  As I walked the path it was clear that there are a lot of people out there that know some things about the mysteries, but I never knew where they got their information.  Some people channeled it, some people “just knew it”, and so on.  Sometimes it felt true, but sometimes it felt like there was nothing behind it so it became a game of discernment about the truth of who we are as humans in this world and how can I be sure the information is coming from a place of integrity.

Many of these healers helped me profoundly by moving from grief into looking at who I am in everything that had happened to me.  I am still here on earth!  I am living but I realized I wasn’t really living the truth of who I came here to be, I was living as someone that thought she should be doing what she was doing but didn’t really deep down in her heart “enjoy” it.  I didn’t feel that I had the power to change it either, to really connect with my true self.

This is where Innerpowerment comes in.

What is Innerpowerment?

Inner power can be defined in many ways.  According to Wikitionary.org, inner power is “integrity of character; resoluteness of will; mental resistance to doubt or discouragement.”  It could also be thought of as a force that guides us in the decisions that we make in life.  “-ment” is the action taken of the word it proceeds.

So, Innerpowerment is the act of reconnecting to your inner power!  It’s that part of you that is there from birth, your character, integrity, your will, that part that will always be there even when you die and you move on from this world to the next.

When I received my Life Activation, I had been to spiritual retreats, taken classes, had coaching from psychics and mediums and it was great.  It was what I needed at the time, but I always keep feeling like there was more.  The energy that came from the Life Activation was different.  It was subtle but powerful.  I noticed changes in my life right away.  I had more connection to myself and who I was. I had more joy and more peace.  It didn’t come from someone else; it came from inside me.  I realized I wanted more of that energy, so I continued on to get the next healing and eventually take Empower Thyself.  I could feel a subtle shift with each healing and class that reconnected me to the truth of who I was, something that nobody else had been able to do for me.  This is why I decided to stay on the path of the Healer and Warrior with the Modern Mystery School, which has a lineage of verbally handing down teachings that goes back to the time of King Salomon and possibly further.  I will write more about that in future blogs.  The point is, that I reconnected with my inner power so deeply through the Life Activation and other modalities from the Modern Mystery School that I knew that there was no turning back.

After reconnecting with my inner power, I now want to serve others

I learned how to do a Life Activation and started to see how it connects people to their inner power and who they are, I slowly realized that I had a deep calling to be of service in this way to others.  I help people reconnect to the powerful being that they are, and I am deeply humbled by the changes and growth I have seen in my clients as they connect with their inner power as they now have lit up inside of them the ability to start living their best life.
